The Golden Circle is Iceland’s number 1 tour and a must do when in Reykjavik.
You will be taken on a 300km round trip which showcases the power and beauty of Iceland’s natural environment. You will have opportunity to visit an active Geysir, experience the ferocity of the Gulfoss waterfall and visit Þingvellir National Park which is steeped in both history and beauty.
This version of the Golden Circle tour includes entrance to the idyllic Friðheimar greenhouse cultivation centre, where you can explore the warm and bright greenhouses and see varieties of cucumbers and tomatoes.

Tour departs at 9am.
If you opt for transfers, pick-up from hotels and guesthouses starts at 8:30am.
Without pick-up: Make your way to BSI Bus Terminal, Vatnsmyrarvegur 10, 101 Reykjavik.
With pick-up: Good news! You can get picked up from your hotel in Reykjavik, just give us the details at the time of booking. Don't worry if you haven't booked your hotel yet, you pass them onto the operator once you are ready.

You will be taken on a guided coach tour of Reykjavik’s famed Golden Circle.
The tour will visit the following places:
• Gullfoss waterfall: This is the queen of Iceland's waterfalls, tumbling down a deep gorge.
• Geysir hot spring area: You can walk around the world-famous Geysir area, a geothermal field where hot springs are in abundance, geysers explode and pools of mud bubble.
• Friðheimar Greenhouse Cultivation Centre: Learn about the magic behind growing delicious, pesticide-free tomatoes and cucumbers with the aid of the geothermal heat that Iceland has in abundance.
• Þingvellir National Park: This is the place of the most historic events in Iceland and exceptional beauty. Þingvellir is the original site of the oldest existing parliament in the world, the Alþingi. The Great Atlantic rift is clearly visible, a rift which is slowly pulling Iceland apart along tectonic plates.
The tour returns to the starting point after approximately 8 hours.
